Public Defender's Office Moving, to Save Taxpayers Hundreds of Thousands

The moving vans soon to appear in front of the public defender's office will relieve taxpayers of more than $60,000 per month in rent.

According to public defender Matt Shirk, the city pays the $60,869 monthly rent at its current office location at the corner of Market and Forsyth streets.
