UNF named to Princeton Review's 'best value' colleges

The Princeton Review's annual report on the nation's colleges has listed the University of North Florida among the top 50 public colleges when it comes to value.

UNF was on the list in 2007 and 2009, but dropped off last year. The Princeton Review praised its access to merit-based and need-based financial aid for students and the school's smaller classroom settings in putting it back on the list.

The cost of tuition is below the national average, the Review said, and students typically graduate with about $15,000 in debt. They also noted the school's efforts to embrace military veterans, the recent upgrade to Division I athletics and required internships as draws for students.
