- Vote Rejected (55-41, 4 Not Voting) The Senate fell short of the votes needed to move forward on this bill that would provide a path to legal status for certain undocumented children brought into the U.S. illegally by their parents. The measure is unlikely to be brought up again in the 111th Congress. Sen. Bill Nelson voted YES Sen. George LeMieux voted NO
