The Duval County School Board approved an equity policy Monday night that promotes treating district employees — and potential employees — with respect and dignity no matter what facet of the system they're employed in. The policy also asks district officials to make sure there is even distribution of money, time, man-hours and other resources throughout schools, departments and facilities.
