Jacksonville council approves $895,000 in financial incentives for Advanced Disposal

Advanced Disposal Services won an $895,000 incentive package Tuesday for expanding its Jacksonville headquarters, even as the company fends off questions that it owes big bucks to the city for landfill fees.
The City Council voted 16-2 for the incentives. The city's share will be $219,000 and the state will provide $676,000.
