Corrine Brown votes for 'don't ask, don't tell' repeal, area Republicans oppose
U.S. Rep. Corrine Brown was the only member of Congress in Northeast Florida to vote in favor of legislation that would allow gays to openly serve in the military. The measure, which passed the House on a vote of 250 - 175, was opposed by U.S. Rep. Ander Crenshaw, U.S. Rep. John Mica and U.S. Rep. Cliff Stearns, all Republicans.
