Monday, Scott announced the creation of a "Statewide Drug Strike Force."
"The Statewide Drug Strike Force will assist local law enforcement agencies by providing intelligence and analytical and investigative support," read a news release announcing the task force.
Scott directed $800,000 in unused grant monies to be immediately available for the task force. He made the announcement at an event with Attorney General Pam Bondi, and Florida Department of Law Enforcement commissioner Gerald Bailey.
